This Walda: Two-time Nobel Prize Winning Marie Curie, at the first of the Solvay Conferences in 1911. [It would take 58 years for TWO women to be in that room.] From my new favorite coffee table book, The Only Woman.

Where’s Walda “finds” women from American history with magnificent stories who made a major impact…AND discusses the barriers, challenges and frustrations they faced along the way. Making them more human, relatable, AND allowing you to see. a. pattern. (Maybe it’s not just me?)

After spending the majority of March talking to corporations and organizations about women’s history, as part of my role at the National Women’s History Museum (of which this newsletter is of no affiliation), I realized how much people need to hear this history.

Because, they matter (the historical figure and the reader).
